Technology

1. Technology is the means, not the end. Technology is the tool to accomplish a larger agenda.
2. The work should always be the focus. Concentrate on what technology does to improve your life and make your work more functional.
3. Technology should be fun. Technology should be tasty—meaning it should be digestible and accessible.
4. Technology should meet your needs. Different approaches work for different people. There is no "one solution fits all".
5. Technology is an ever evolving arena to explore. No one will ever know it all.

Training and Education

1. Learning is not confined to the classroom. We all learn and grow in every moment of our lives.
2. Training is a partnership between the “students” and the “teachers”.
3. Training should always be rooted in the experiences and reality of participants.
4. The goal of training is to assess where participants are in their learning process, offer a framework to process people’s experiences, and inspire participants to take action and make positive change in their lives and the lives of their communities.
5. Educators benefit and grow just as much as participants do from the process of training.
